PERSONAL DATA POLICY
Wincover's Personal Data Policy (hereafter the policy) sets out the governing principles for how Wincover processes personal data, cf. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council for the processing of personal data.
The purpose of the policy is to set the framework for how Wincover processes personal data about customers, employees, business partners and others. The policy applies to all employees as well as to business partners who carry out tasks on Wincover's behalf.
GENERAL PRINCIPLES FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AT WINCOVER
Wincover has the following governing principles for the processing of personal data:
- Our customers and employees can be confident in our processing of their personal data.
- We only process personal data when we have a clear purpose for it.
- We comply with the data protection regulation in force at all times.
- Our employees are instructed to process personal data securely.
- We process personal data securely in our IT systems.
We strive to ensure that personal data is always up-to-date and only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose and/or fulfillment of relevant legislation.
We ensure that our business partners comply with the data protection regulation.
We are well prepared to handle a data breach should this happen.
YOUR RIGHTS
- Obligation to provide information: You have the right to receive information about which personal data we process about you.
- Right of access: You have the right to access and receive the personal data about you that you have provided to Wincover. You have the right to receive a range of information about the processing(s) that Wincover carries out of your personal data.
- Right to rectification and deletion: You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected. In special cases, you have the right to have information about yourself deleted before the time of our general deletion occurs. If your personal data has been passed on to a third party, the latter will be informed of this by correction or deletion.
- Right to revoke your consent: Part of Wincover's processing activities may be based on your consent. In that case, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legitimacy of data processing carried out prior to such withdrawal. If you withdraw your consent, Wincover and third parties involved in the processing of personal data will cease to process your personal data, unless and to the extent that the continued processing or storage is permitted or required by the data protection regulation or other applicable laws and regulations.
- Right to complain: If you wish to complain about the processing of your personal data, please contact Wincover by sending your complaint to the contact person at Wincover listed below. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Authority about the processing of your personal data.
